As a Warranty Technician based in Schertz, TX, you will diagnose, repair, and resolve warranty-related issues involving residential garage doors, openers, and related systems. You will serve as a trusted representative of our company, working directly with homeowners to inspect concerns, identify solutions, and ensure warranty claims are handled efficiently and professionally.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, working independently in the field, and delivering a positive customer experience. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to quality workmanship. You'll play a key role in protecting customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards that Garage Door Services is known for.
You Will Be Trusted To:- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers for residential customers
- Load, unload, and handle all materials and equipment for each job
- Provide friendly, professional service that keeps homeowners happy
- Recommend upgrades and solutions that improve safety, convenience, and style
- Work safely with heavy components and troubleshoot issues independently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure every job is completed efficiently and correctly
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in installation, repair, construction, or home services
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in physically active environments
- 1–2 years working with garage doors or garage door systems
- Experience leading installations or handling complex repairs
- Comfort using tools, power equipment, and troubleshooting systems
- Proven customer service experience is a plus
